Was Jeff Scouten secretly working for the other side?

The first lawyer John English hired was Jeff Scouten and Jeff made some really, really big mistakes - if they were mistakes, but, if they were not mistakes and they were part of the criminal conspiracy, then Jeff is one of the dirtiest lawyers in British Columbia. Sitting on the sidelines now and knowing what we know, it sure looks like Jeff deliberately sabotaged his own client and, unfortunately, this is something that lawyers in British Columbia often do . But to be fair, Jeff has denied that he sabotaged his client and we are publishing his denial below.
According to Jack English, the first thing Jeff Scouten did was he consented to the following:
1. The court file should be moved from Nanaimo to Kelowna so John Enlgish would have to spend $1,000 and a full day of travelling on every trip to court giving the home team in Kelowna a tremendous advantage because John English was a respected member of the community on Vancouver Island but he as a nobody in Kelowna and all of his witness would be from the Vancouver Island thereby adding tremendously to his costs.
2. The redemption period should be reduced from the usual six months to zero meaning that the mortgage company would snatch the title away from the English family companies, immediately, at the hearing in Kelowna that John English only learned about by accident when he told Jeff he was going to the court to file some an affidavit in the court file. Jeff finally fessed up and told John English that the file had been transferred to Kelowna by his agreement without any authority from his client, John English.
Mr. English fired Jeff on the spot and drove to Kelowna where he retained a new lawyer to try to salvage the case.
Mysteriously, Jeff Scouten showed up at the hearing also and one wonders what on earth he was doing there when he was no longer retained except perhaps conspiring with the other side.
According to John English, he fired Jeff Scouten as soon as he learned of these things in Scouten's office in Nanaimo the week before the hearing in Kelowna.
We are not sure why Jeff did this. He may just have made a mistake. He may have been working secretly for BCIMC.
Given the power, the greed and the immoral and unethical deviousness of the insiders at BCIMC and the British Columbia Government generally, we are inclined to favour this latter theory.
However, as part of our dedication to truth in reporting, we contacted Jeff Scouten and he denied everything and threatened a lawsuit so we wrote him back and asked for clarification on what exactly was not true and we have printed our correspondence with Jeff Scouten.
Mr. Scouten refused to tell us what is untrue and the general rule is that anything not specifically denied is deemed admitted so basically everything we have published here can be accepted as the truth.
In the spirit of fairness and honesty, we have published Mr. Scouten's replies below in full so our readers can judge for themselves and decide of Mr. Scouten is being honest, dishonest or engaging in classic avoidance conduct characteristic of a guilty person.

Correspondence With Jeff Scouten
More Correspondence with Jeff Scouten
The foregoing correspondence with Jeff Scouten pretty well confirms that the basic facts are true.
We contacted Mr. English about Jeff's comment that he was re-hired and put Mr. English in the hands of senior legal counsel. Mr. English says Scouten has it backwards because he (English) went to senior legal counsel and then senior legal counsel said he would get Scouten to fix up something that was screwed up on the file.
As stated, at this time we do not have any direct evidence that Scouten cooked a deal with Wilson in Kelowna to sabotage Mr. English and his family but there is an old principle that silence is acquiescence.
